Finding Inspiration

I stumbled upon Sseko Designs via The Brightside Project this afternoon. It is always really beautiful to find someone who has become inspired to help others and has done so in such a fun and entrepreneurial way. Not only are her sandal designs beautiful but Liz, the creator, is giving a wonderful opportunity to women in Uganda.

Charms

I love these small custom-made pieces from Under Her Charm. They would make a perfect Valentines Day, anniversary or mother's day present when customized for your loved one. Perhaps even bridesmaid or groomsmen gifts when done tastefully? I especially love the collar stays as they are a subtle reminder to your loved one that can stay a secret between two.

Veils

I love these non-traditional options for a veil. Unlike some, I have never really fantasized about having a wedding so this foray into wedding planning is all new territory for me!

Hurricane Bill

We had some enormous waves in New England this weekend as a result of Hurricane Bill. It was amazing to have 9' waves in NE when we consider 3' swells to be huge! I've been dusting off my camera(s) and playing around with different formats. So far, nothing amazing but a nice b&w.
